Call9 provides a continuum of care for the most vulnerable, highest cost patient population in our country. Millions of people in nursing homes suffer unnecessary transfers to the hospital—but shouldn’t. We’re changing that.


Care Team

Our hybrid care model embeds emergency-trained first responders—generally a paramedic or EMT—on-site in nursing homes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. When a patient gets ill, the first responder goes to the bedside and utilizes proprietary technology to immediately connect to Call9’s remote Emergency Medicine physician and advanced practitioner care team via our virtual care platform.


Patient Care

Creating a model of care that reduces unnecessary senior hospitalizations has enabled us to manage both the financial and clinical risk associated with this vulnerable population. Call9’s interdisciplinary care team engages a proactive, data-driven approach to provide palliative services, optimize patient care plans, minimize acute changes of condition and treat acute emergencies as they arise.



We bring an enhanced suite of emergency diagnostics to the bedside, delivering clinical tools to nursing homes that are traditionally only available in hospitals. Through integrations with the major nursing home EMRs, Call9’s powerful technology platform captures real-time data that enables improved medical decision making and provides a higher quality of care and a better experience for the patient, family and facility staff.
